ABOUT US

OUR HISTORY

The journey of Christ Identity Ministeries (CIM) began with a divine encounter in 1980, a few years after the convener had committed his life to Jesus Christ.

Actively involved in various ministry roles at the time, he sensed a deep calling to transition into full-time ministry. Seeking divine direction, he embarked on a three-day fast. During this period, the Lord spoke to him clearly, saying: “The time for full-time ministry is not now. When the time comes, I will let you know.”

Respecting this divine instruction, he continued to serve faithfully in different ministry capacities, without pressing further into the idea of full-time ministry.

Decades later, in 2017, the Lord appeared to him once again—this time in a night vision. The Lord said: “It is time to go into full-time ministry. As I said to you in 1981, I am calling you now as an eleventh-hour minister.” (Matthew 20:1–16).

1980

Our Journey Began

The Lord further commissioned him with a clear mandate:
“I am sending you forth to restore, revive, and raise an army of prophets for the end-time harvest of the nations.” (Ezekiel 37:1–14).

This profound call marked the official birth of Christ Identity Ministeries, a ministry raised to awaken, equip, and release prophetic voices for the global end-time revival.

VISION STATEMENT

To see lives restored by the truth of God’s Word, revived by the power of His Spirit, and raised up as a united, Spirit-filled people walking confidently in their God-given identity, purpose, and victory in Christ.”

MEET THE TEAM

Rev. Dr. Cyprian & Rev. Dr. Mrs. Nkemnelem Ihediwa

Conveners and Overseers of Christ Identity Ministries

Cyprian and Nkemnelem Ihediwa are the heart behind Christ Identity Ministries. After many years of ministry and family life in Gravesend, Kent, where CIM first began in 2018, they felt led to move to Kilmarnock, Scotland in 2024—and have made it home since 2025.

They’ve been married for decades, raised six amazing children—four boys and two girls—and are now proud grandparents to eight grandchildren (with more on the way!). Some of their children are actively involved in ministry, continuing the legacy of faith and service.

Cyprian and Nkemnelem are passionate about seeing people discover their identity in Christ, grow in their walk with God, and live out their purpose with confidence and power. They love people, love the Word, and believe the best is yet to come.

Apostle Martins Ihediwa

Apostle Martins Ihediwa serves as the Resident Pastor at Christ Identity Ministries. He carries a deep passion for the Word of God and is graced with a strong teaching gift. His heart is to see the Body of Christ equipped with the knowledge and spiritual understanding needed to walk in the fullness of life in Christ.

Outside the pulpit, Martins is also a medical doctor, bringing both spiritual and physical care to those around him. He is married to Joan, and together they are blessed with two wonderful daughters.

When he’s not preaching or in the clinic, you’ll likely find him enjoying a good game of football, connecting with people, or exploring other personal interests.

What We Believe

Christ Identity Ministries – Statement of Faith

1. The Bible – God’s Inspired Word

We believe the Holy Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, are the inspired, infallible, and authoritative Word of God. They reveal His will for humanity, serve as the final rule for faith and life, and contain all we need for salvation, instruction, and godly living.

(2 Tim. 3:16; 1 Thess. 2:13; 2 Pet. 1:21)

2. One God in Three Persons – The Godhead

We believe in One eternal God who exists in three persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—co-equal and indivisible in essence. The Father is the source of all creation, the Son (Jesus Christ) is the eternal Word made flesh, and the Holy Spirit is God’s presence at work in and through believers today.

(1 John 5:7; John 1:1,14; John 15:26)

3. The Lord Jesus Christ – Our Saviour

Jesus Christ, born of the virgin Mary, lived a sinless life, died for our sins, rose from the dead, and now reigns at the right hand of the Father. He is both fully God and fully man, and the only mediator between God and man.

(Luke 1:35; Heb. 4:15; Rom. 8:34; 1 Tim. 2:5)

4. Salvation by Grace Through Faith

All humanity has sinned and needs redemption. Salvation comes only through faith in Jesus Christ—by believing in His death and resurrection and confessing Him as Lord. This salvation is a free gift of God’s grace, not earned by works.

(John 3:16; Rom. 3:23; Eph. 2:8–9; 1 John 5:12)

5. The New Birth and Eternal Life

Being “born again” is a spiritual transformation through the Holy Spirit, marking the beginning of eternal life and relationship with God. This new life results in inward change and outward fruit of righteousness.

(John 3:3–5; 2 Cor. 5:17; 2 Cor. 7:10)

6. Water Baptism by Immersion

We practice baptism by immersion as a public expression of our faith in Christ and identification with His death, burial, and resurrection. While it does not save, it is an important step of obedience for all believers.

(Matt. 28:19; Rom. 6:4; Acts 8:36–39)

7. The Baptism and Gifts of the Holy Spirit

We believe in the baptism of the Holy Spirit as a distinct experience after salvation, empowering believers for witness and service. Speaking in tongues is the initial sign, and the Spirit continues to distribute gifts for the building of the Church.

(Acts 1:8; Acts 2:4; 1 Cor. 12:4–11)

8. Sanctification and Christian Growth

Sanctification is the process of becoming more like Christ—set apart and holy. It begins at salvation and continues as a daily journey of transformation through the Word, the Spirit, and obedience.

(Heb. 12:14; 2 Pet. 3:18; 1 Thess. 5:23)

9. The Church – The Body of Christ

The true Church is made up of all born-again believers. Jesus is the Head, and we are His body, called to gather in fellowship, grow in faith, serve one another, and share the gospel with the world.

(Eph. 1:22–23; Acts 2:42–47; Eph. 4:15–16)

10. Healing, Signs & Wonders

God still performs miracles today. Divine healing and supernatural signs are available through prayer, faith, and obedience to God’s Word. These confirm His power and point to Jesus as the living Christ.

(James 5:14–15; Isa. 53:5; Mark 16:17–18; Acts 4:16)

11. The Return of Christ and Resurrection of the Saints

We believe in the personal, imminent return of Jesus Christ. At His coming, believers who have died will be resurrected, and together with the living saints, will be caught up to meet Him. This is our blessed hope.

(1 Thess. 4:16–17; Acts 1:10–11; Rev. 20:6)

12. Heaven, Hell, and Eternal Judgment

Heaven is the eternal dwelling of the righteous, while hell is a literal place of eternal separation for those who reject Christ. We believe in a final judgment and the reality of both eternal reward and eternal punishment.

(Matt. 25:46; Rev. 20:11–15; Heb. 9:27)

The Pillars of our Beliefs

1. FAITH

Faith is the foundation of the Christian life and the key to accessing God’s promises. It is trusting God even when circumstances seem impossible. Faith pleases God and activates His power in our lives.

  • “Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen.” — Hebrews 11:1
  • “But without faith it is impossible to please him: for he that cometh to God must believe that he is, and that he is a rewarder of them that diligently seek him.” — Hebrews 11:6
  • “For we walk by faith, not by sight.” — 2 Corinthians 5:7
2. The Word

God’s Word is living, powerful, and sharp, capable of transforming lives. It is the believer’s spiritual food, sword, and foundation. The Word reveals God’s will and is the standard by which we live.

  • “Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.” — Matthew 4:4
  • “Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path.” — Psalm 119:105
  • “The grass withereth, the flower fadeth: but the word of our God shall stand forever.” — Isaiah 40:8
  • “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any two-edged sword.” — Hebrews 4:12
3. Prayer

Prayer is our direct line to God—an intimate conversation that builds relationship and releases God’s power. Persistent, fervent prayer brings answers, peace, and divine intervention.

  • “Pray without ceasing.” — 1 Thessalonians 5:17
  • “Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed.” — James 5:16
  • “Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and show thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.” — Jeremiah 33:3
  • “The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.” — James 5:16
4. Consecration

Consecration is total dedication to God’s service, setting oneself apart from worldly influences. It requires holiness, obedience, and a willingness to be used by God fully.

  • “I beseech you therefore, brethren, by the mercies of God, that ye present your bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God.” — Romans 12:1
  • “Be ye holy; for I am holy.” — 1 Peter 1:16
  • “Follow peace with all men, and holiness, without which no man shall see the Lord.” — Hebrews 12:14
  • “But as he which hath called you is holy, so be ye holy in all manner of conversation.” — 1 Peter 1:15
5. Prosperity

God’s desire is for His people to prosper spiritually, materially, and physically. Prosperity is a sign of God’s favor and an enabling tool for ministry and blessing others.

  • “But thou shalt remember the LORD thy God: for it is he that giveth thee power to get wealth.” — Deuteronomy 8:18
  • “Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health.” — 3 John 1:2
  • “The blessing of the LORD, it maketh rich, and he addeth no sorrow with it.” — Proverbs 10:22
  • “I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” — John 10:10
6. Vision

Vision is God’s divine revelation that gives purpose and direction. It fuels motivation and keeps believers focused on God’s plan despite challenges.

  • “Where there is no vision, the people perish: but he that keepeth the law, happy is he.” — Proverbs 29:18
  • “Write the vision, and make it plain upon tables, that he may run that readeth it.” — Habakkuk 2:2
  • “For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.” — Jeremiah 29:11
  • “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” — Proverbs 16:3
7. Wisdom

Wisdom is essential for navigating life’s complexities with God’s perspective. It brings success, peace, and understanding. God generously grants wisdom to those who seek it.

  • “If any of you lack wisdom, let him ask of God, that giveth to all men liberally, and upbraideth not; and it shall be given him.” — James 1:5
  • “The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom.” — Proverbs 9:10
  • “Happy is the man that findeth wisdom, and the man that getteth understanding.” — Proverbs 3:13
  • “The wisdom that is from above is first pure, then peaceable, gentle, and easy to be intreated.” — James 3:17
8. Success

Success is fulfilling God’s purpose in your life, resulting in fruitfulness, favor, and influence. Success is a byproduct of obedience, faith, and reliance on God.

  • “This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.” — Joshua 1:8
  • “The LORD shall command the blessing upon thee in thy storehouses, and in all that thou settest thine hand unto.” — Deuteronomy 28:8
  • “Commit thy works unto the LORD, and thy thoughts shall be established.” — Proverbs 16:3
  • “Delight thyself also in the LORD: and he shall give thee the desires of thine heart.” — Psalm 37:4
9. Signs and Wonders

God confirms His Word and power through miraculous signs and wonders, which strengthen believers’ faith and draw others to Him. These supernatural acts demonstrate God’s kingdom on earth.

  • “These signs shall follow them that believe; In my name shall they cast out devils; they shall speak with new tongues.” — Mark 16:17
  • “And wonders and signs were done by the apostles.” — Acts 2:43
  • “Moses and Aaron performed signs and wonders in the land of Egypt.” — Exodus 7:3
  • “For the kingdom of God is not in word, but in power.” — 1 Corinthians 4:20
10. The Holy Spirit

The Holy Spirit is our helper, comforter, and source of power. He teaches, guides, convicts, and empowers believers to live victorious lives and serve effectively.

  • “But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you.” — Acts 1:8
  • “Howbeit when he, the Spirit of truth, is come, he will guide you into all truth.” — John 16:13
  • “And the Spirit of the Lord shall rest upon him, the spirit of wisdom and understanding.” — Isaiah 11:2
  • “Ye are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you.” — Romans 8:9
11. Divine Healing

Healing is part of Christ’s redemption and provision. Through His wounds, we have access to physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. Healing glorifies God and confirms His kingdom’s power.

  • “But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.” — Isaiah 53:5
  • “Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed.” — 1 Peter 2:24
  • “Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him.” — James 5:14
  • “And Jesus went about all Galilee, teaching in their synagogues, and preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing all manner of sickness.” — Matthew 4:23
12. Praise

Praise is an act of faith that invites God’s presence, breaks yokes, and releases blessings. It is a spiritual weapon that changes atmospheres and defeats the enemy. God inhabits the praises of His people.

  • “Thou hast caused men to hear, and thou hast given them joy: O Lord, thou hast multiplied the people that rejoice.” — Psalm 21:1
  • “Let everything that hath breath praise the LORD.” — Psalm 150:6
